What’s your name?
My name is Amber.
Where do you live?
Here, there, everywhere
I’m currently living in Kentucky (where I’m from) but hoping to move back to The Netherlands sometime in the future.
What do you study?
Currently I have my Globalization and International Relations BA degree as well as my International Economics BA degree. Working on grad school right now.
What camera do you use?
I own a Nikon D3200 and I love it to bits. It’s my first DSLR and I’m very attached to it. So far I’ve had it for a couple of years and I’m fully content with it. While I own the kit lens and I do think it’s alright, it’s not the main lens that I use for my photos. I swear up and down that this lens is the very best!
Sometimes I do use my phone to take photos and it definitely doesn’t disappoint! I bought the Samsung Galaxy s7 Edge for the sole purpose of the camera.
How do you edit your photos?
I use Adobe Lightroom, VSCO, and Snapseed. I mostly use Lightroom when it comes to photos taken from my DSLR and when I use my phone I’ll usually just use VSCO and Snapseed.
How much weight have you lost?
In total, it would be around 110 pounds in a span of maybe 2 years.
How did you do it?
I have a page dedicated to it actually! So click here and it’ll redirect you!
Have you gained any of the weight you lost back?
Oh yeah! Unfortunately I did, but I’m not ashamed to admit it. I mean, after all, it’s completely natural. There are multiple things that did contribute to it (this did happen within a time span of like 2 years). Having to work 2nd and 3rd shift while at the same time being a full time student (taking 18 hours worth of classes per week), as well as some other things. These did cause me to gain some weight back. I plan to write a blog post about this to let everyone know that it’s totally okay to gain weight again after losing some.
