Would you believe me if I told you, that I hiked the longest gorge in Europe without any sort of preparation or training? Because that’s pretty much what happened. Without doing any research at all on the national park I decided “I really wanna hike while we’re in Greece” and I got the “Ok” from Jack, so I booked the trip. Apparently some people train before taking this and I can see why. The Samaria Gorge is around 16 km (close to 10 miles) long, and took us around 6 to 7 hours to hike.
I came out of the hike totally fine, except for some sun screen in my eye. Jack on the other hand, well, he couldn’t walk for a couple of days. So here are a few photos from our long hike!
